Modulus of Rupture

LMATS can perform modulus of rupture on refractory or concrete samples in accordance with AS 1774.3 and AS 1012.11 respectively.

The modulus of rupture test involves application of a constant rate of increase of transverse stress on the test specimen until failure occurs. The maximum transverse stress is the modulus of rupture. In simple words, it is a three point beam loading test.
