The Question?

I have a NATA endorsed metals chemical analysis report issued by a mechanical testing laboratory who did not perform the chemical analysis. Is this report legitimate?

The Answer,

A NATA endorsed chemical analysis report can be issued by testing authorities only when the issuing authority have NATA accreditation for the elements reported in the chemical analysis report. The person responsible for the performance of the test must be authorised to perform tests as per NATA field application documents. Any NATA endorsed test report issued by a testing laboratory who are not accredited by NATA to perform chemcal analyis is not a legitimate report.
