The Question?

Is there any alternative to Radiography to detect reo bars in the concrete?

The Answer,

Yes. There are few other test methods to detect reo bars in the concrete. One of the sensitive, simplest and economical test methods is using GPR.  LMATS utilises GPR to detect reo bars, its depth, spacing and semi-quantitative diameter of the reo bars. The GPR can also find concrete lamination, conduits, electrical cables, plumbing pipes, etc embedded in the concrete slabs.
